Atlas, led by Argentine coach Diego Cocca, drew 0-0 against Mazatlán as a visitor, and was consolidated among the teams that will advance to the second round of the Liguilla that will define the champion of the Clausura tournament of the first division of soccer in Mexico. The match was played in the Mazatlán stadium, with the presence of 8,785 spectators, and the Argentines Milton Caraglio and Hugo Nervo were the starters in the Atlas, while Julio Furch entered the second half.

With the tie, Atlas was better positioned, reaching 22 points and for the moment qualifies for the final league that will define the champion, while Mazatlán, with 18 units, has it more complicated when there are only three dates remaining for the end of the phase regular. The Clausura tournament in Mexico will qualify the first four directly to the quarterfinals (the leader Cruz Azul and his escort América have already achieved it) and those placed from fifth to twelfth will start the league in the second round.

In the other advanced match, Necaxa, with Argentine Maximiliano Salas, equalized at home against Querétaro also without goals in a meeting between two teams from discreet campaigns.

This Saturday, for their part, they will play for date 15 of the Liga MX Atlético San Luis-Puebla, Chivas of Guadalajara-Tijuana and América-Cruz Azul. On Sunday they will see the faces Pumas UNAM-Tigres UANL, Santos Laguna-Toluca and Monterrey-Pachuca. And on Monday the León-Juárez date will conclude.
