Bayern Munich, Benfica and Dinamo Kiev will be Barcelona's rivals in the group stage. A complicated draw in which the Barça club will have to fight to be among the first two classified to go to the round of 16. Germans and Spaniards start as favorites to go to the next round but Portuguese and Ukrainians can complicate the goal.

Finally, Bayern Munich was the team that was chosen in the raffle, with the memory of the 2-8 from a couple of seasons ago that was a catastrophe in the Barça club and that caused Leo Messi to end up sending a burofax at the beginning of the following season demanding his departure. The win ended with the mandate of Quique Setién on the bench and led to the signing of Ronald Koeman.

The Germans are presented with a remodeled team, with the arrival of Nagelsmann to the bench but with many protagonists of that game, such as Lewandowski, one of the three top scorers in the history of the Champions League. He is joined by Thomas Muller, or Joshua Kimmich, as the main references of the team.

For its part, Barcelona, arrives devastated. Even, much worse than that game in Lisbon. Without Luis Suárez in attack, who scored twice on that occasion, with Lionel Messi playing for PSG, and Antoine Griezmann who arrived at Atlético Madrid, Barcelona will present a practically new team to be able to reverse that fateful night for the Catalans.
