The 6-1 win suffered by Roma on Thursday against Bodo / Glimt was much more of a nightmare for José Mourinho than for the Italian team he directs. Is that the team is second in their group in the Conference League, a kind of Europa League 2, one point behind the Norwegians who beat them, but for DT it meant the worst defeat of his life.

In 21 years as a professional coach and in more than 1000 games, the Portuguese lived in this duel for the third date like a shock: he had never received six goals from his team. Before arriving at Roma, he was in charge of eight others: Benfica, Uniao Leiria, Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Tottenham.

To make matters worse, with the discomfort generated by the fall in the Roman fans, the defeat comes a day after Mourinho himself refused to leave Roma after a formal offer from Newcastle: “I will not go to Newcastle, I decided to stay in Roma", said. A few hours later, in Norway, this slap leaves him reeling.

Until now, only once had he lost a team led by Mou by five goals: it was in 2010, when he managed Real Madrid and, for the Spanish League and also as a visitor, Barcelona, led by Joseph Guardiola, beat him by 5 -0. That day, Sergio Ramos was sent off late after kicking Lionel Messi from behind. Today they are teammates at PSG.
