Bayern Munich is well known for knowing how to manage money, not making crazy and expensive transfers that they cannot pay later and getting the most out of their players. However, from time to time some investments do not give the expected results.

This is the case of Frenchman Corentin Tolisso, who quite possibly will leave the Bavarian club for June 2022, when his five-year contract is fulfilled. Tolisso arrived in July 2017 as a future star from Lyon and Bayern Munich paid the sum of 41.5 million euros at the time, a very high figure even now in 2021.

At that time he was 24 years old and a lot ahead of him, but unfortunately the player underperformed. After a good 2017-18 season with 40 games, 10 goals and seven assists, it began to decline, in part, because of Bayern itself. Why? Because the Bavarians signed an explosive couple in the middle: Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka, who established themselves in their positions a few years ago.

For this course 2021-22 the arrival of Marcel Sabitzer finished condemning Corentin Tolisso, who thought that with the departure of Thiago Alcántara he could regain prominence. Now the club will not renew it and was never able to sell it. The main interested party is PSG, a club that is always on the lookout. Other candidates to sign him are Atlético Madrid and Inter, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
