Hollywood actress and TV host Oprah Winfrey is considered, possibly, the highest charity donator ever, having provided over $40 million through Oprah Winfrey Foundation, as People magazine assured.

Meryl Streep has allegedly given $4 million through the Silver Mountain Foundation for the Arts. Alongside her husband Donald Gummer are close to Bill and Melinda Gates. It seems she is as good in charity as she is in her performances.

Cristiano Ronaldo was awarded the Athletes Gone Good Award. He also paid over $80,000 for the surgery of a 10-year-old, apart from donating money to the Cancer Treatment Center his mother attended. His big counterpart, Argentina’s Lionel Messi, has performed for a long time as UNICEF ambassador, helping lots of children in the Reach Out for Asia campaign, assisting people in countries like Nepal, Bangladesh and Indonesia.

After joining Serie B side Monza, former AC Milan, Manchester City and Internazionale striker Mario Balotelli went on to revive his career. The 30-year-old Italian is known for having donated half of his salary to multiple charity organizations for a long time. For example, he was reported to earn over $2.5 per month playing for Brescia in 2019-20 season.
