Fabinho has been one of the most important elements of the squad and has been instrumental in the club's success this season, especially in the UEFA Champions League.

Therefore, as soon as the news about his injury was known, alarm bells went off at Anfield because the player is indispensable in Jürgen Klopp's game plan, so his absence would be a serious disadvantage for the club, against an unbeatable Real Madrid.

Will Fabinho be able to play for Liverpool FC against Real Madrid?

According to Jürgen Klopp's statement, Fabinho will be ready to play in the final of the UEFA Champions League, along with Liverpool, who will face another European titan: Real Madrid

"(Hewill definitely be back for the (Champions Leaguefinal, and for the Chelsea final and before, we'll see, we don't know. That's all," said Klopp at a press conference in which the main topic was precisely whether the Brazilian would be fit for the clash against Los Merengues

However, what is a fact is that the player will not be able to play in the final of the FA Cup, in which the Reds will face Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea, a duel that will take place tomorrow.

In fact, Klopp has already ruled him out for that match, but not for the final of the Champions League.

"(He is) absolutely fine. Fab is a professional, obviously he wasn't happy with that, that's clear, but he took it and he's already taking on the fight against time, if you like. That's just the way it is.

"It's not good enough if you're ready the Friday before the final, it should be Tuesday or Wednesday or something like that and we're working on that and we're all pretty confident that's the way it's going to be. So he's absolutely fine," were the words of the club's head coach.

How many games has Fabinho missed due to injury with Liverpool FC?

So far the Brazilian midfielder has missed 29 games for his club due to injury, but it is more than clear that he was not going to miss the UEFA Champions League final for anything in the world.

In fact, he was one of the protagonists of the team on their way to the final of the tournament, as in their match against Villarreal, in the second leg, the Brazilian was the one who opened the scoring for his team, when the Reds were losing 2-0 against the Yellow Submarine.

With his goal, he encouraged his teammates to do the same and it was not until after his goal that Luis Díaz and Sadio Mané scored to seal the scoreboard.

In this way, the Brazilian will not miss the expected duel against Real Madrid, a team against which Liverpool will seek to win and take home the seventh UEFA Champions League cup.
