Liverpool, looking for possible replacements for Sadio Mané, thought about snapping up Heung-Min Son this summer, but with Tottenham entering the Champions League via the Premier League that possibility has cooled.

The figure Liverpool are asking for Bayern Munich to sign Mané

Antonio Conte did his job at Tottenham. He got the team into the top four and qualified them for the next edition of the Champions League. Both Arsenal and Manchester United, fifth and sixth respectively, were left out of England's 'Big Six'.

In case Spurs had not sealed their presence in the Champions League, they could have lost one of their best players in recent years: Heung-Min Son. Liverpool had the South Korean on the agenda as a possible replacement for Mané, as 'Football.London' assured.

What is Heung-Min Son's value?

Son still has a contract until 2025 and his current market value is 70 million euros. Jürgen Klopp's side would have had to pay an amount that would have paid, in part, for a hypothetical sale of Sadio Mané to Bayern Munich.

At 29 years of age, the winger closed a good season with Tottenham, in which he scored 24 goals and eight assists in a total of 45 games, starting in 39 of them. He also won the trophy for top scorer of the Premier League campaign, along with Salah, with 23 goals each.
