The young striker was the protagonist of the match with his goal. The Arsenal player scored again after two games without doing so. The English player has become one of Arteta's references.

The Englishman, who scored his last goal against Watford, finished off a good Arsenal team move with a low volley from the edge of the box.

Led by the play of Norwegian Martin Odegaard and the form of 20-year-old Saka, who already has nine goals in 28 games, the Gunners have managed to string together five consecutive away wins for the first time since 2015 and are a solid side.

The Villains, who never lost their nerve, found few ways to damage Arsenal, apart from a shot by Ollie Watkins that was pushed away by the post in the 68th minute, after Emile Smith Rowe's shot was blocked by his own goal.

Arsenal, the third on the list to achieve it

It was not just another goal for Saka, but it became Arsenal's 2,000th goal in the history of the Premier League. It is worth remembering that this competition was born in 1992.

In doing so, Arsenal became the third club to reach such a remarkable figure. Manchester United and Liverpool did it before.

Thanks to this goal and this win, Arsenal continues to strengthen their grip on fourth place in the Premier League. After losing in midweek against Liverpool, they are back on the winning track with 54 points from 28 games played, 4 points ahead of Manchester United, their closest rival, and 5 points behind Chelsea in third place.

On the other hand, Gerard's Aston Villa remain in ninth place with 36 points, failing to close the gap on Wolves, who lost 2-3 to Leeds United on Friday. Southampton and Crystal Palace are close behind, one with 35 points and the other with 34 respectively.
