The goal gave the Cottagers hope, but the Citizens would make their home advantage count just a few minutes later.

Manchester City made a more than spectacular comeback after just two minutes

After Carvalho's goal made the score 1-0, everyone expected a disaster for the team that fielded Gundogan, De Bruyne, and Mahrez, but soon Guardiola's players focused and started the counterattack.

After a series of shots in the box, Ilkay Gundogan headed past the keeper to make it 1-1 in the 13th minute.

However, things would not stay that way as in the 12th minute, from a Citizens corner kick, John Stones jumped and beat the defender to deflect the ball past Paulo Gazzaniga, making the score 2-1.

Later in the 51st minute, City's lead was extended by a well-taken penalty from Mahrez, making it 3-1.

Mahrez would also score the fourth goal in the 56th minute when Kevin de Bruyne sent an accurate pass to Riyad Mahrez in the opponent's area, who unhesitatingly shot to make it 4-1.

After beating Fulham, City is shaping up to win it all this season

With the victory over Fulham, the team led by Pep Guardiola is emerging as the favorite in the Premier League and the FA Cup.

In the Premier League, the team is so far ahead of its competitors that it seems that no matter what they do, they just can't catch up with a City team that looks like a well-oiled machine.

On the other hand, after this victory, the Citizens managed to advance to the fifth round of the FA Cup, and are increasingly emerging as favorites to win this competition as well.
