Why was Chelsea vs Arsenal postponed?

Frank Lampard's side, who had been soundly beaten by Newcastle last time out, made amends by leaving Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds United, whose qualification aspirations at this stage of the season, are the same.

The Toffees won 3-0, convincingly, and extended their cushion over the relegation zone. Coleman opened the scoring in the 10th minute; Keane, in the 23rd minute, doubled the advantage, and Gordon, in the 78th minute, completed the sentence. A poor performance by the Whites, who continue to fall behind and are endangering their continuity in the top flight.

Lampard made changes after losing to Newcastle

Lampard surprised starting the former Ajax and Manchester United player Dony Van de Beek, who made his debut as a starter with the Toffees after having minutes last match against the Magpies but as a substitute.

The former Chelsea and Derby manager change the lineup and the formation after the tough loss against Newcastle. For this match, Lampard decided to play with two strikers and two wingers to have more presence in the offensive plays. Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin were the strikers and Iwobi and Gordon were the wingers.

As center midfielders, the Brazilian Allan and the Dutchman Van de Beek were in charge of recovering the balls and distributing Everton´s game. Finally, the defensive line was formed by Keane, Holgate, Coleman, and Kenny.

Dele Alli, one of the signings of the Liverpool side came on from the bench in the second half as well as Salomón Rondón and El-Ghazi.

Bielsa is at risk of being fired

Meanwhile, Leeds United are struggling with Marcelo Bielsa and are fighting to not fall to relegation positions. After a great season in the Premier League last season, the Whites are not playing well the current campaign and the continuity of the Argentinian coach is at risk. Despite the Argentine led the Whites to the Premier League two years ago, rumors about his departure are strong due to the bad results the team has amassed.

Other Premier League results

In this 25th round of the Premier League, Brighton also triumphed. It did so by defeating Watford by 0-2. The Hornets are in the relegation zone and hoped to be boosted by the support of their fans to overcome the Seagulls, but nothing could be further from the truth. They will have to continue rowing for salvation.

Brentford and Crystal Palace, also protagonists in this round of matches in the English elite, signed a 0-0 draw. With no urgency in the table for either team, the situation of the Bees is quite hopeless, because, although they still have a margin of safety in the bottom half of the table, they have not won six matches in a row in the Premier League.
