The draw defined that the three will compete in different lanes and will not meet until a hypothetical semifinal. Josep Guardiola's side will face Southampton in Hampshire, where they have won the only victory over the Citizens in the last 14 matches between them.

On the other hand, Jurgen Klopp's pupils still do not know their opponent, who will come out of next Monday's match between Nottingham Forest and Huddersfield Town.

Meanwhile, the Blues, who are going through the future sale of the club, will face Middlesbrough, who have already eliminated Tottenham and Manchester United, will they be another victim of Boro?

The last match of the round will be played by Crystal Palace, who, like Liverpool, will have to wait for the match between Everton and Boreham Wood, to be played this afternoon at Goodison Park Stadium.
