As if the market was not interesting enough, yesterday a bomb announcement shook the market with Cristiano Ronaldo when it was known his desire to leave Manchester United. And as expected, the news around the Portuguese does not cease.

As he did last August in the final stretch of the market, Cristiano Ronaldo's decision to leave Manchester United this summer caused a real earthquake. We see it today because the 37 year-old striker is on the front pages of the English press this Sunday.

Nothing further is known about his destination, although yesterday options such as Chelsea or Napoli appeared. But he has quickly been dropped from the agenda of a Bayern Munich team which he was linked to, so that the Portuguese, according to Bild, will not land in the German squad as a possible  replacement for Robert Lewandowski.

Other options for Ronaldo

Another future team that ends the bid for him is that of PSG, as The Athletic reports. So the Old Trafford side are starting to see the bidding continue, even if admirers are dropping off, and their chances of retaining him as the market progresses may be quite slim.

Marca points to two other looking for him. A return to Sporting Portugal is in the first place, the club where he began to stand out. And on the other hand, Jose Mourinho's AS Roma, although this is an almost impossible prospect because the Italians are not playing in the Champions League either.
