One of the players that will be on the move next season is Raúl Jiménez, as the Mexican international hasn’t been able to recover his scoring streak since he got injured back in 2020, something that has been worrying Wolves.

Changes at Wolves, Raúl Jimenez would leave the team for this reason

In the current season, the 30-year-old striker has scored just six goals, far from the double digits he was used to in the first couple of seasons that he played in Molineux Stadium, although his lack of scoring hasn’t prevented him from being the top scorer of the team.

But the main problem that he’s facing is that Bruno Lage hasn’t found a place for him in the current starting XI, as Jiménez has played the last few games as a right-winger, position that he doesn’t know how to play.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have already agreed to label his as transferable for the summer transfer window, as they expect that a fresh start for both parties help them get back on track, especially after a season where they couldn’t reach European spots.

Bayern Munich is looking for a striker

Raúl Jiménez’s future could be in Bundesliga now that Bayern Munich, who have showed interest in him in the past and reports have linked him to the Bavarians in recent weeks, are looking for a new striker given that Robert Lewandowski has requested his transfer, according to reports from Bild.

Bayern Munich is looking for an offer between $36 million and $42 million to let the Polish striker leave, and FC Barcelona is willing to pay them what they’re asking, which will leave enough money to the Bavarians to pursue the addition of Jiménez.

Reports from TalkSPORT suggest that Wolves are willing to sell Jiménez for as little as $18 million, as even if he still has a few years to play at a high level, his contributions during the past two seasons haven’t been enough to ask the $100 million they wanted back in 2020.

He could also stay at Premier League

One of the advantages that Jiménez has is that he knows well Premier League, something that could help him find another team in the English top flight, as reports have linked him to Manchester United too, although his future could be in a team from the mid-table.
