Arsenal FC is not closed to add a couple more players before the winter transfer window closes, even though the offer they made for Fiorentina FC striker Dušan Vlahović were unsuccessful. But now, they’ve moved from that failed attempt and are focusing on another Serie A team.

Arsenal has been linked to Samuele Ricci earlier in the season, but it seems that now, the Gunners are all-in in their pursue of acquiring the Empoli FC defensive midfielder, especially after the light midfield they currently have.
Ricci, who is also referred as ‘Little Jorginho’, is view as a phenomenon in Empoli, but they might let the 20-year-old arrive in Emirates Stadium for the right price, something Mikel Arteta might do as he likes to spend on players he considers will boost his team. His current market value is set at $13.6 million.

Ricci has made his whole career in Empoli FC, as he joined their Academy team when he was a kid and was promoted to the senior team for the 2019-20 season. So far, Ricci has played a total of 90 games
