Manchester City striker Erling Haaland is living a great present after winning the FA Cup, his second title of the season, and now he is close to winning the UEFA Champions League in a few days, when they face Inter Milan in the final of the competition.

 

However, during the past weekend it was confirmed that the Norwegian finished as the leader in the competition for the Golden Boot, an award that rewards the best scorer of the main European leagues. In his debut season in the Premier League, Haaland registered a total of 35 goals in 36 games played, surpassing Andy Cole's record.

Now, just a few days away from playing in the UEFA Champions League, in what would be the first European title in the history of the competition. However, the club must first get past a great Inter Milan team led by Simone Inzaghi. But before the final in Istanbul takes place, Erling Haaland's teammates are already giving him a curious nickname after his great performances for the team in his first season.

 

What is Erling Haaland's new nickname?

According to Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson, Haaland's curious dance when it comes to scoring his goals reminds him of a Premier League legend who came to prominence in a big way. "Every time Haaland does his dance, we tell him he reminds us of Peter Crouch," Ederson told TNT Brasil. The team is now focused on facing Inter Milan on June 10 in the UEFA Champions League.
