In the last season, Manchester United´s captain, Harry Maguire had very bad performances or at least very bad mistakes very often, so he became a meme or a joke for some people, first, it was funny, but when you see all his performances an realized that Harry is one of the best-paid players in the Premier League, winning almost 10 million pounds a year, it stops being funny.

So here are 5 Premier League players that make less money than Maguire and we don´t understand why.

Sadio Mané, the Liverpool´s winger makes 5.2 million pounds a year which is almost half that Harry makes. Sadio was a runner-up in the Champions League and frequently appear in the Ballon D´or talks. 
Bruno Fernande, the Portuguese midfielder makes 9.3 million pounds a year, which is half a million less than his captain, considering Bruno was one of the best players on the squad this season and Harry one of the worsts, this is not fair.
Phil Foden, the Manchester City rising star gets paid only 620,000 pounds a year, that´s not even 10% of what Harry Maguire makes, Phoden won the Premier League and surely his salary is gonna go up next year. 
Alisson, Liverpool,s goalkeeper got paid 7.8 million pounds last season, which is two million less than Manchester´s captain. He was the best keeper in the Premier League and arguably one of the best  in the world. 

The most surprising one 


Son Heung-Min, the Korean striker who won the Premier League´s golden boot with 23 non-penalty goals was only paid 7.2 million pounds, that´s 2.5 million less than Maguire, the top scorer of the Premier League makes less than the player that was a joke for a lot of people last season.
