Alejandro Garnacho could be living his final months as a Manchester United player. The Argentine winger, just 20 years old, is reportedly growing uncomfortable under the guidance of new manager Ruben Amorim, whose recent arrival at Old Trafford has brought tactical ideas that do not seem to suit Garnacho’s dynamic playing style. As a result, his role in the team has diminished, raising concern both within his camp and across Europe.

Sources close to the club suggest United would not stand in the way of a potential exit this summer, provided a convincing offer lands on the table. In that scenario, three major clubs have already shown serious interest in signing Garnacho: Inter Milan, Napoli and Atletico Madrid. The forward’s price tag is expected to exceed €50 million, reflecting his potential and market value.

Garnacho, who came through the Atletico Madrid academy before moving to Manchester, could be set for a return to La Liga. However, a switch to Serie A is also seen as an attractive option, with both Inter and Napoli keen to strengthen their attacking lines ahead of the new season. All three clubs view Garnacho as a key asset for the future.

Since breaking into the United first team, Garnacho has displayed flashes of brilliance, becoming a fan favourite for his pace, flair and fearlessness. But under Amorim’s system, he has struggled to find a consistent role, often starting on the bench or being deployed in unfamiliar positions.

The player’s entourage is said to be keeping a close eye on the situation. While no formal decision has been made, they are fully aware that Garnacho needs regular playing time to continue his development — something that seems increasingly unlikely at United under the current setup.

For Manchester United, parting ways with a young talent of Garnacho’s calibre would not come lightly. But with the club undergoing structural and tactical changes under new management, a summer departure is no longer out of the question.

A rising star set to ignite the transfer window

As the summer window approaches, Garnacho is emerging as one of the most sought-after names in European football. With top clubs circling and the player eager to play a more prominent role, a high-profile move could be just around the corner.
