Joao Felix could be on the move once again, with reports suggesting that the Portuguese forward could leave Chelsea during the winter transfer window. The 25-year-old has struggled for regular playing time under new manager Enzo Maresca and has been linked with a move to AC Milan.

Since joining Chelsea last summer, Felix has been unable to secure a consistent starting role. Despite arriving with high hopes of reviving his career, the Portuguese international has found himself on the bench more often than not. With just three Premier League starts to his name, Felix has struggled to make a significant impact at Stamford Bridge.

A Change of Scenery As a result of his limited playing time, speculation surrounding Felix's future has intensified in recent weeks. Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport has reported that AC Milan are interested in signing the forward. The Rossoneri are keen to bolster their attacking options and believe that Felix could be the missing piece in their puzzle.

Why Milan? AC Milan are looking to add a new dimension to their attack and believe that Felix's creativity and technical ability would be a valuable asset. The Italian club have already expressed their interest in Manchester United's Marcus Rashford, but a deal for the England international appears to be difficult to finalize. 1

With Felix's contract at Chelsea set to expire in 2025, the Blues may be open to selling the player in order to recoup some of their initial investment. A move to AC Milan would reunite Felix with his Portugal teammate Rafael Leao and give him the opportunity to work under the guidance of his compatriot, manager Sergio Conceicao.

A Fresh Start A change of scenery could be just what Felix needs to reignite his career. AC Milan's attacking style of play would suit the Portuguese forward's abilities, and he would have the opportunity to play alongside some of the best players in Serie A.

However, any potential move for Felix would depend on several factors, including Chelsea's willingness to sell, Milan's ability to meet the player's wage demands, and the Portuguese forward's own desire to move to Italy.

What do you think? Should Joao Felix leave Chelsea in search of a fresh start? Let us know in the comments below.
