Brazilian midfielder Casemiro's future at Manchester United appears increasingly uncertain, with reports suggesting that the 32-year-old could be on the move as early as this January transfer window.

According to the Daily Mail, Casemiro has fallen out of favor with the recently appointed manager, Rúben Amorim, and is now being linked with a move to Saudi Arabia. Two Saudi Arabian clubs, Al-Qadsiah and Al-Nassr, are reportedly interested in signing the former Real Madrid stalwart.

Al-Qadsiah, managed by former Real Madrid player Míchel Salgado, offers Casemiro the opportunity to reunite with a familiar face. Meanwhile, Al-Nassr, where Cristiano Ronaldo currently plies his trade, would provide the Brazilian with the chance to link up with his former Real Madrid teammate.

Casemiro's potential departure from Manchester United comes just over a year after his high-profile move from Real Madrid. The Brazilian midfielder had been a key figure for Los Blancos, winning numerous trophies, including five Champions League titles. However, his time at Old Trafford has been less successful, and it seems that a change of scenery may be on the cards.

Why a move to Saudi Arabia?

Several factors could be driving Casemiro towards a move to Saudi Arabia. The financial incentives on offer in the Saudi Pro League are certainly attractive, with clubs in the region willing to pay exorbitant sums to lure top players. Additionally, the opportunity to reunite with former teammates and play alongside global superstars like Cristiano Ronaldo could be appealing to Casemiro.

What does this mean for Manchester United?

If Casemiro does leave Manchester United in January, it will be a significant blow to the club's midfield. The Brazilian has been a vital component of the team since his arrival and his departure would leave a big hole in the squad.

The Red Devils will need to act quickly to find a suitable replacement for Casemiro, if he does indeed leave. However, with the January transfer window now open, it remains to be seen whether they will be able to find a player of the same caliber.
