Arsenal are reportedly tracking two of the brightest young talents in Greek football, with scouts from the North London club said to be impressed by their performances for Olympiacos.
Charalampos Kostoulas and Christos Mouzakitis, both just 17 years old, have been instrumental in Olympiacos' impressive start to the season. Under the tutelage of former Athletic Bilbao manager José Luis Mendilibar, the young duo have quickly established themselves as first-team regulars. Kostoulas, a versatile forward, has already netted three times in 18 appearances, while Mouzakitis, a promising central midfielder, has contributed with an assist in 16 games.
Their performances haven't gone unnoticed, and it's claimed that Arsenal have been monitoring their progress for several months. The Gunners are known for their excellent youth academy and have a history of developing young talent, making them an attractive destination for promising youngsters.
However, Arsenal will face stiff competition for the pair. According to reports, European giants Real Madrid, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, and Juventus are also interested in Kostoulas, who is seen as one of the most exciting young strikers in Europe.
With the January transfer window fast approaching, it remains to be seen whether Arsenal will make a move for either player. However, with their reputations on the line, the club's scouts will be keen to secure the signatures of two of the most promising talents in Greek football.
