It's been most than 18 months since Cory Burke played his last game for Philadelphia Union. Ironically, his last game was exactly against Montreal Impact, the same rival Philly will face tonight. Anyway, Burke hasn't been cleared to play tonight at Subaru Park because he is going through a quarantine period.

Anyway, Burke's return is great news for Jim Curtin. Apart from having one of the most solid defenses in the league, Philadelphia scores many goals. They hold the second best goals scored/concede difference in the whole league, and a total of twenty eight goals scored.

Philly is the fourth best total-scoring team in the MLS just after the Seattle Sounders, the Portland Timbers and the Los Angeles FC. Adding Burke might give some flexibility to their attacking trio of Aaronson, Sergi Santos and Przybylko, as the Jamaican striker can play both in the middle of the attacking line, or as a winger.

On the other hand, Jim Curtin hasn't found much of a replacement for the top scorer of the squad, the Polish Kacper Przybylko, whom with seven goals this season is among the top scorers of the league, too. Talking about Burke, Curtin remarked that he was Union's top scorer before his injury. It looks like many more goals are on its way to Subaru Park.
