USMNT are forming players all over the world and it is said that they can transform into one of the best national teams in the future. The team coached by Gregg Berhalter played two matches during the FIFA international break of November, the last one of the year, achieving a tie (against Wales) and a triumph (against Panama).
Christian Pulisic is currently their greatest figure even though he lost those matches for an injury. Aged 22 the attacker has already played 34 matches with his national team scoring 14 goals and is supposed to be the figure that takes the team to the next World Cup and guide the new generation.
But at the other part of the world there is a player arising who has also great conditions and could be Pulisic companion. He is Joel Soñora, the offensive midfielder aged 24 who plays in Argentina for Talleres. Born at Dallas, he played for UMSNT youth and could be joining the first team soon as well.
Joel is the son of Diego, an historical player from Boca Juniors who passed through Football Club Dallas, NYRB, DC United and Tampa Bay and the MLS. Joel scored last weekend against Boca at emblematic stadium La Bombonera, being the first American player to do so in that field and broke an historical record.
