Real Salt Lake's issues are not only outside the field. Since Dell Loy Hansen's comments and the news he will sell the franchise, the attention on the soccer performance of the team has decreased. But, the goalkeeping is an issue that still concerning coach Frederico Juárez. In that way, it can be the time for a new player to show himself: David Ochoa.

RSL only had three clean sheets in their nine Regular Season games. In their last five games, they had suffered 13 screamers and the goalkeeping position, normally occupied by Zac MacMath, started to stagger. Neither him or Andrew Putna have shown enough skills to keep that spot.

Consequently, the name of David Ochoa started to increase in the last hours. Ochoa is the only one who hasn’t played, and that’s down to a thumb injury suffered. He is reportedly free from injury now, but he has not yet been spotted even on Real Salt Lake’s bench. If there is a time to give him a try, it is now.
