Football players are often angered by a minor injury that they may suffer such as a torn or sprained ankle. These injuries compared to much more serious injuries are minimum. There are some injuries that can take players out of playing for a long time.

What is incredible is that very few injuries can remove a player from his profession. This is suffering Nicolas Castillo. The Chilean player continues to battle against a venous thrombosis that brought him to the brink of death eleven months ago.

He confirmed to the site Águilas Monumental that “He is traveling to Atlanta on Saturday (December 5) and in February He is playing,”. Luckily it seems that he left his illness behind and he could return to play. After the defeat against Chivas, America needs Castillo quickly.

Nicolas Castillo has started his career at Universidad Catolica (Chile). Later, the Chilean player traveled to Europe to play in Club Bruges (Belgium), Mainz (Germany), Frosinone (Italy) and Benfica (Portugal). Castillo could have his best performance in Pumas where he was the most important player. Since 2019, he plays in America.
