Javier Hernández, known as "Chicharito", is the Mexican national team's all-time leading scorer. Among his qualities on the field, his speed and acceleration stand out, with a record of 34.6 kilometers per hour in just 2.5 seconds.

His best performance came in the 2011 Gold Cup, where he was named best player and Golden Boot of the championship. There, he scored seven goals in six games which allowed him to win the tournament, being his greatest achievement with the Mexican national team.

A little more about him and his career

The Mexican striker weighs 73 kilos and is 175 centimeters tall.

Javier joined Guadalajara's youth ranks at the age of nine. His performance in the 2010 Bicentennial Tournament made him a goal scorer and several European clubs began to notice him. 

In 2010, at the age of 22, he made his debut for Manchester United F.C. and was the first Mexican to play for one of the most important English clubs in history.

Under the technical direction of Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti, he won the FIFA Club World Cup in Morocco playing for Real Madrid F.C. against San Lorenzo de Almagro and obtaining his first title with the Merengue jersey. 

From 2015 to 2017 Chicharito played for the German team Bayer Leverkusen, where he surpassed 100 goals as a professional at club level.  

In 2017 he signed a three-year deal with West Ham United. Ann 2019 he was announced to join Sevilla F.C. on a contract until 2022, but in the winter break of that same season, he left the club to join Los Angeles Galaxy, his current team. 

Javier Hernandez has been described by many of his teammates as quick and forceful when it comes to making passes. His physical abilities led him to become one of the most skillful players in the box and also made him one of the players with the highest goals per game played record.
