Mexican footballer, Alan Pulido has led an interesting life, having been kidnapped once and able to escape from his captors all by himself. In what was a daring escape by Alan Pulido, the player overpowered one of his captors and wrestled a .50 calibre gun from him. He also beat the kidnapper and called the police to trace his call before they find him. This is the story of how Alan Pulido escaped the captivity of Kidnappers in his native Mexico. 

Who kidnapped Alan Pulido and how did Alan Pulido get kidnapped?

The striker who used to play for Greek side, Olympiakos, was abducted by kidnappers in his hometown of Ciudad Victoria after he went to a party and was returning with his girlfriend. The report states that the kidnappers pulled in front of the BMW that Alan Pulido was driving and dragged him out of the car and fled the scene. His girlfriend called the authorities to inform them of the crime just before a call ransom came in.

The kidnap of Alan Pulido was carried out in the Ciudad Victoria capital of Tamaulipas. Tamaulipas is a city that is very hot and disputed by the violent Los Zetas cartel in Mexico. A suspect was arrested in relation to the kidnapping of Alan Pulido and the suspect is believed to be part of the Los Zetas cartel. The Tamaulipas area of Mexico is one of the places with the highest rate of kidnapping in Mexico. 

How did Alan Pulido escape from his kidnappers?

Alan Pulido initiated his escape when he was left with just one of the kidnappers. He fought with the kidnapper to wrestle the gun from him and used the gun to threaten him. Alan Pulido then took the cell phone from the kidnapper and called the police department to trace the call. The Police had asked him to shoot the gun so they'll know where Alan Pulido was but he told the police there was no bullet in the gun.

Alan Pulido stuck his head out of the window to describe the antenna he could see and a 2-storey building with 2 cars parked in front. The Mexican striker also described his clothing so the police would not confuse him with the kidnappers. When Alan Pulido was rescued from the kidnappers, he was seen with a bandaged right hand which he injured from breaking a window.
