The French center-back is one of the main targets of the Blaugrana in this summer transfer market. Xavi Hernandez wants to form a top-level center-back pairing with Koundé and Ronald Araújo, who is the best center-back the club currently has on its roster.

On the other hand, as reported by journalist Marcos Beltran, Sevilla have set the price of the French center-back at €60 million fixed plus €10 million in variables, which was the figure they gave to Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea for a possible transfer.

FC Barcelona would not be able to reach that figure because they do not have a whole lot of money to invest and they also have several targets for this summer. Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, Marcos Alonso, César Azpilicueta and Bernardo Silva are among the top targets for the Blaugranas.

Chelsea are in the bidding for Koundé

The Sevilla center-back is believed to be Chelsea's top defensive target in to the summer transfer season. Barcelona have clearly expressed their own interest. But given Barça's tricky financial situation, the tide may likely turn. Chelsea have shown interest in several central defenders this summer but Koundé and Matthijs de Ligt are atop their list.
