Chelsea striker who could fill Salah's void at Liverpool

Bayern Munich have decided to cover their losses. While continuing to do everything possible to keep him, the board has opted to launch a search for a new striker who, if necessary, can fill the considerable gap Robert Lewandowski would leave.

After two of the top strikers in the transfer window have already chosen new destinations, the Norwegian Erling Haaland and the Uruguayan Darwin Nunez, and leaving the possibility of casting their nets over Sasa Kalajdzic (Stuttgart), the club now seems to have focused its efforts on signing, according to Forbes, one of the new talents of Ligue 1, the Frenchman Hugo Ekitike.

However, his signing is proving to be complicated. The club must wait for the departure of 'Lewy' to be confirmed, and that could generate a delay that could finally complicate a transfer. Also, there is huge competition, for the youngster as teams like Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Newcastle are following  his footsteps.

French Youngster shows promise

Ekitike, barely 20 years old, has just completed his first full season with Stade de Reims. Although he has not yet established himself as an undisputed starter he has scored several goals and provided assists proving his worth. The player has taken every opportunity to showcase his talent, eye for goal and vision.
