The Supercopa final is set, and the El Clasico will happen again this season on Sunday in Saudi Arabia. Real Madrid managed to beat Atletico Madrid in a Madrid derby that will be classified as a classic as the white side of Madrid beat the Colchoneros 5-3 in extra time. FC Barcelona took care of business against Osasuna as their 2-0 win placed them in the final.

Some football fans may argue that Real Madrid will be the favorites for the final because of their impressive attacking performance against a tough side like Atletico Madrid. Barcelona struggled in the Osasuna game's first half until subs like Joao Felix, Perdi, and Lamine Yamal displayed good attacking football for the Catalan club.

Last year`s edition of the Supercopa final saw Barca win 3-1 against Real Madrid, and Xavi hopes to replicate that performance. Xavi stated, "Last season`s final was probably the best match since I have been here. This year, they [Real Madrid] are better, but we will not change anything. We are very motivated."

Xavi was impressed with the performance against Osasuna, although he gave credit to the opponent for their defensive shape. He also praised his substitutes Pedri and Yamal for their positive influence on the team as Barca scored two minutes in the second half, with both young players on the pitch.

Xavi believes his Barca team can dominate Real Madrid ahead of the final on Sunday

After reflecting back on last year`s epic 3-1 win against Real Madrid, he believes his current team can perform the same way against a strong Madrid side. Xavi explained his thought process for the upcoming El Clasico. Xavi states, "The league Clasico, we [Barca] dominated most of the match. I can compare it to last season`s final. I think we can dominate them [Real Madrid] and win."

Xavi will not count on Raphinha, who picked up an injury during the semifinal against Osasuna and will likely start Lamine Yamal in the right-wing position. There were rumors that Joao Cancelo could appear, but the risk is high, and the Portuguese will likely not feature in the final.
