FC Barcelona is focused on its next game of the season. Xavi looks to prepare his team for their match against Unionistas de Salamanca. Xavi wants his players to move on from their 4-1 loss to Real Madrid and focus on the competitions they still compete in, like La Liga, Copa del Rey, and the Champions League.

Xavi still believes in his team and aims big for the next couple of games. He expects the players to deliver and compete for all trophies they are playing for. In a press conference for the Copa del Rey game, Xavi even boldly states that if he doesn't meet the objectives, he will be the first to leave for the benefit of the club and team.

Xavi says, "This year, the objective is to win important titles, Copa del Rey, La Liga, or Champions League. If the objectives are not achieved, I will be the first to say that I have not achieved them, and I will leave. This is my reality. I think we are much closer to success than to defeat."

Xavi had the Barca President Joan Laporta over to talk with the players. Both Xavi and Laporta convinced the players to lift their heads up for the rest of the season, as there were still important titles up for grabs.

Barcelona released a statement with an image of Laporta talking to the players. The statement read, "Joan Laporta emphasized the quality and talent of the players to be able to turn this situation around and that three titles are still at stake. Together, with the strength of unity, the season's objectives are more than achievable."

Xavi recognizes that Gavi is missing in the team and that they all miss him on the pitch

One of the players Xavi mentions that is missing from the team is Gavi. He believes that the 19-year-old was a key player in the squad and will have to trust his other players to bounce back without him. He also mentioned Ter Stegen, Raphinha, and Joao Cancelo as key players missing from the team right now.

Xavi says, "It is very difficult to replace Gavi because he is the soul of the team. We miss him; that's a reality. Gavi's injury is a stab in the heart of the team, or that of Ter Stegen, or that of Raphinha, who gives a lot of soul to the team, or that of Cancelo recently. It's no excuse, the objectives are still intact."
