Real Madrid will host the first NFL game in Spain, but they might not be the only ones to host American football games in Spain.

Real Madrid president spoke about becoming the first club in Spain to host an NFL game in the country. Real Madrid president Florentino Perez said, "The National Football League's arrival at the Santiago Bernabeu is a major event in sports history. This strategic alliance between Real Madrid and an organization of the NFL's prestige will boost our brands globally. It will be enthusiastically welcomed by millions of people on all continents, and it is an honor to embark on this journey together."
Other countries in Europe have done it in the past as well. England and Germany hosted NFL games earlier in this NFL season. Wembley Stadium, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and Frankfurt Stadium hosted some games late last year. Bayern Munich's Allianz Arena also hosted a game in the past. Another stadium in Spain that could be next to host an NFL game is Atletico Madrid's Civitas Metropolitano stadium. FC Barcelona does not want to be left behind, as it also plans to do the same with its new stadium.

Rac 1 reports that Barcelona is working with NFL teams to host an NFL match at the new Spotify Camp Nou when it reopens. The new Camp Nou will be fully renovated in 2026. FC Barcelona will play at their stadium in November this year at 50% of capacity. The old Camp Nou had a capacity of around 99,000 seats, but the new one will have around 105,000 seats. FC Barcelona wants the new Camp Nou to host the 2030 World Cup final.
