The Argentine's bodyguard, Yassine Chueko, is always seen beside Messi before Inter Miami games after Inter Miami games and is on the sidelines of the pitch in case someone from the stands approaches him. Chueko reportedly is with Messi almost 24/7 and is fully in charge to only protect the Inter Miami forward. According to La Vanguardia, there is also a security group of 50 people in the United States who protect Messi's family. Messi's bodyguard, Yassine Chueko, was born in the United States but is of Muslim descent because of his parents. Some reports suggest that Chueko was a former soldier who was in the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. Chueko is also an MMA fighter, which allows him to take down a person who tries to harm Messi. The bodyguard has other combat backgrounds like Boxing, Muay Thai, and Taekwondo.
In Ronaldo's case, the Portuguese star has two twins who accompany him outside of the pitch. The two bodyguards' names are Sergio and Jorge Ramalhiero, and they have been with the Portuguese star since his second arrival at Manchester United a couple of years ago. Each of them earns $250k a year, which means that Ronaldo spends half a million on security. Each of the bodyguards makes nearly $21,000 a month. Both of them were a part of the Portuguese security police association and are familiar with combat and weapons.
