FC Barcelona are still renovating their stadium while Real Madrid is using their renovated stadium to good use.

FC Barcelona are on a great path in renovating their new Spotify Camp Nou, and the team will potentially play in it late this year. While Camp Nou will be fully renovated in 2026, the team will be able to play in front of a crowd of 60,000 people in December this year. Real Madrid are finishing the final touches to their newly renovated Santiago Bernabeu. New screens in the stadium are being tested and the world has taken notice to how nice the stadium is looking.

The NFL made a big announcement with Real Madrid as American football will arrive in Spain for the first time next year. The game will be played in the Santiago Bernabeu. The UFC could also arrive at the Bernabeu soon as the current UFC featherweight champion Ilia Topuria is a big Real Madrid fan. The MMA company is interested in holding its title fight in Spain. UFC President Dana White was intrigued to hear the capacity of the Bernabeu when asked if the UFC could be hosted there.

Recently Real Madrid asked La Liga for permission to move their last matchday in the Bernabeu to be played on a Saturday instead of Sunday along with the ret of the league. The permission seems to have been granted, and the club wanted this to prepare for a show of Taylor Swift. Shakira is another artist interested in performing at the Bernabeu. On her tour, the Colombian singer plans to have four shows at the Bernabeu next year.

Real Madrid will be getting more revenue this summer after more shows are planned at the Bernabeu. After Taylor Swift on May 30th, Duki will perform on June 8th. Manuel Carrasco will have an event on June 29th. Ibai Velada will have a show there on July 13th. Karol G will have three shows in July [20,21,22]. Aitana will have a show on December 28th, and Lola Indigo is set to perform there next year.
