Portuguese fans are excited as the EUROS 2024 is days away and believe in the national team. Cristiano Ronaldo remains the main star of the team despite being 39 years old, and many fans want to see him play or even train with the national team as it could be his last international tournament with Portugal. While everyone expects to pay for a ticket for a game of football, some do not expect that there is a fee to simply watch Ronaldo and the Portuguese national team train ahead of EURO 2024. According to Mundo Deportivo, Ronaldo and the Portuguese national team will have an open training session for the public, but it comes at a hefty price. The tickets to watch CR7 and the Portugal train are worth $859. There were 6,000 free tickets and seats for the public, but they were gone in minutes. At first, the tickets for the training session were worth around $400, but they have gone up. The team will be training in Germany as their debut match of EURO 2024 will be on June 18th against the Czech Republic.

Portugal will play the Czech Republic next Tuesday at the Red Bull Arena Leipzig. Their second group stage match will be against Turkey on June 22nd at the Signal Iduna Park. Their last match in their group will be against Georgia on June 26th at the Veltins Arena.

Not only are Portuguese fans desperate to see Ronaldo, but other football fans want to see the striker potentially play his last matches for the national team, who hinted at soon retiring. Ronaldo may not make the 2026 World Cup, but he is motivated to win this tournament despite winning the European Championship in 2016.

Cristiano Ronaldo on the Portuguese fans

CR7 is motivated to win the EURO 2024 along with the rest of the players from the Portuguese national team, but he also hopes to see the Portuguese fans bring the energy ahead of the special tournament. Ronaldo said, “Portuguese fans always play a crucial role, as do those who watch us on TV because their energy will be felt in Germany. I want them to continue doing what they have always done: supporting the national team and the players. As players, we feel this support on the pitch, and together, we will be stronger.”
