FC Barcelona has yet again lost another shot for a trophy. Barcelona lost 4-2 to Atheltic Club de Bilbao in the San Mames stadium. Bilbao advances to the semifinals of the Copa del Rey, while Barcelona will have to battle for two more trophies for the rest of the season.

Despite the loss, many Barca fans were satisfied with Lamine Yamal's performance. The 16-year-old scored a goal but also missed an open goal that could have put Barca in the semifinals of the Copa del Rey. Yamal was arguably the best player for Barca last night but did receive some criticism from certain Barca fans for the miss late in the game.
Jules Kounde also received criticism for his lack of quality defense, along with the rest of the defense itself. The Barca team has conceded nine goals in the last four games in all competitions. Although he scored against Bilbao, Lewandowski started to anger and frustrate many Barca fans. Some believe his time is done and should be sold this summer and look for fresh young legs in the striker position. Lewa scored by sticking a leg out while an Athletic Bilbao player tried clearing the ball from his box. The leg deflected the ball from going past the Bilbao keeper and bounced into the net.

Vitor Roque saw no minutes in the game and questions about Xavi's decision increased
A player that featured no minutes in FC Barcelona's loss to Bilbao was Vitor Roque. Barca fans are tired of seeing Lewandowski staying on the pitch and want to see Roque play for some minutes in the striker position. Xavi subbed in Marc Guiu for extra time instead of Roque and spoke about his decision.
Xavi says, "Vitor Roque is very young, but yesterday we wanted to play Marc Guiu. Both of them will be alternating. Vitor Roque will be important too; he's very young". Xavi confirms that Roque will compete for a spot in the team with Guiu instead of contending with Lewandowski for the starting striker position.
