Transfermarkt reports that Vinicius Jr.’s market value is currently at $180 million. Neymar and Messi’s highest market value throughout their careers was also at $180 million. Before Neymar joined PSG, the market values of players were not as inflated as they are now, which could mean that if Messi and Neymar were in their prime, the market value of the two would likely be above $200 million. Despite having a market value of $180 million, PSG paid $238 million for Neymar to FC Barcelona in the summer of 2017.

Vinicius Jr. is tied with Messi and Neymar for the most valuable South American players ever. All three were valued at $180 million at one point in their careers, and if Vinicius continues his form to be consistent, it could go even higher.
