Victor Osimhen speaks on his potential future and mentions the Premier League!

The Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen, has been a wanted player by many top European clubs. The Napoli striker has caught many eyes after a spectacular performance last season with Napoli in the Serie A and in the Champions League. The striker was even in the top 10 ranked players of 2023 in the FIFA The Best ranking and in the top 10 of the Balon d'Or.

The Nigerian striker was placed in the 8th position in the Balon d'Or ranking and placed 5th in the FIFA The Best Player ranking. The recognition is testimony of his great season with Napoli. He was vital in securing Napoli's first-ever Scudetto trophy in 33 years. Osimhen scored 26 goals and provided 4 assists in Seria A last season. He scored five goals in six Champions League fixtures. He had a total of 35 goal contributions in 39 matches last season with Napoli.

This season had been a shadow of last year for Napoli as the Italian champions sit in 8th with 31 points. The team is three points away from Champions League spots but is 20 points away from league leaders, Inter Milan. The Nigerian striker still scored seven goals and provided two assists in 13 Serie A games. The striker remains very important to the team and signed a contract extension with the club that expires in the summer of 2026.

In a recent interview with Sky Sports, Victor Osimhen was asked if he would like to play in the Premier League one day. The Nigerian said he would but is focused on other plans. Links to Chelsea have been rumored about the player, and new speculation has him intriguing Real Madrid. The Nigerian doesn't mention Los Blancos or any specific club, but mentioning the Premier League has excited football fans.

Osimhen says, "Of course, I would like to play [in the Premier League] one day, but for now, I have other plans for my career. But when the time comes, you will know everything.”
