FC Barcelona is linked with many managers right now, and the club wants to find the right fit this summer that could replace Xavi. The club is looking at three big names: Roberto De Zerbi from Brighton and Hove Albion, Thomas Tuchel from Bayern Munich, and Hansi Flick. Flick is one of the favorites since FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta likes the manager, but now the German coach could be ruled out.

According to Marca, Barça has considered Hansi Flick as an option. He is still within the possible options, but it isn't very easy for him to be the chosen one. The club wants someone who has coached in several countries. FC Barcelona sporting director Deco wants the next Barça coach to have done his work in several countries. Hansi Flick has never left Germany, both as a player and as a coach. Flick coached FC Bayern Munich and the German national team. This could possibly rule out Julian Nagelsmann as well since most of his career as a coach is spent in Germany. He managed Hoffenheim, RB Leipzig, and Bayern Munich and is now the coach for the German national team.

De Zerbi, currently the best-placed, is coaching in the Premier League with Brighton after being at Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine. Tuchel is another one who has coached in several countries, such as Germany, England, and France. Tuchel coached PSG, Chelsea, and is currently in Bayern Munich.
