Nothing is official yet, but everything points to Kylian Mbappé becoming a new Real Madrid player for next season. The French star has decided that he is not going to stay at Paris Saint-Germain and according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the only club he is currently negotiating with is the Merengue squad.

Real Madrid recently announced that they will be going on a pre-season tour of the United States to prepare for the start of the 2024/25 campaign and many fans were excited at the prospect of Mbappé getting his first minutes in a Spanish side's uniform on U.S. soil. However, it seems that this will not be the case, as everything points to the fact that he would not be going on the preseason tour.

According to Spanish newspaper AS, Real Madrid fans might have to wait until August for Mbappé's official presentation as their club's new player. This is because Mbappé does not officially disassociate himself from PSG until August 1 of this year, so for the Merengue squad to present him earlier, they would have to make several formalities and ask for favors from the Parisian club.

In addition, the calendars are very tight because in the event that Real Madrid, PSG or both reach the final of the UEFA Champions League, they would be in competition until June 1. In addition, there is the Euro in Germany this summer, which starts on June 14. Because of all this, Mbappé's arrival could be postponed until August, which would leave him out of Real Madrid's pre-season tour this summer.
