Cristiano Ronaldo’s future had become a mystery these past few months as rumors suggested that Inter Miami and Bayer Leverkusen were clubs interested in the Portuguese star. Ronaldo’s contract with Al Nassr expires in the summer of 2025, and with his anger toward the officiating in the Saudi Pro League and the treatment from opposition fans, some reports suggested CR7 was looking for a way out. Now, a leaked image reveals that Ronaldo looks set to stay another year with Al Nassr, and the Portuguese striker is wearing what appears to be the new kit for Al Nassr next season. The new jersey is yellow with a different design and with a different shirt sponsor. Al Nassr is expected to be sponsored by Adidas next season over Nike.

Ronaldo posing with the new jersey almost confirms his stay with Al Nassr and commits to his contract over making a return to Europe or playing alongside Lionel Messi in a few months. CR7′s team away kit for next season also appears to have been leaked online, as it will have a dark blue and gold color scheme with the Adidas logo on the top left. The colors of the jerseys are similar to the ones they have this season, and Al Nassr fans seem excited that their star player could potentially stay another season in Saudi Arabia.

Inter Miami wanted to bring in Ronaldo soon to partner him up with Messi. The move would make a football fan’s dream come true in seeing two of the greatest players of all time finally playing together. Ronaldo and Messi had competed against each other for many years in La Liga when they were both at Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, respectively. Ronaldo’s salary would’ve been a problem at Inter Miami since he earns more than $200 million a year, while Messi earns around $26 million a year as a base salary. The exciting part about joining Inter Miami is the possibility of having a stake in a club, gaining more popularity in the United States, and having more business opportunities.

Bayer Leverkusen was another exciting opportunity for CR7, as the club has been on fire this season under Xabi Alonso. The Spanish manager has guided the Leverkusen team to win its first-ever Bundesliga title in its history and go unbeaten throughout the whole season. The team will become one of the favorites to win the Champions League next season, but even more so if they have Ronaldo as the main striker and the leader of the team. CR7 has lots of experience in the Champions League, as he has won five throughout his career and would’ve looked to collect another one before he retires.
