"We cannot organize world football for 300 players and 20 teams," Tebas asserted. "In Europe, there are fifty thousand professional players. Players who earn one or two thousand euros a month or those who earn one or two million euros a month. And the families of all those players depend on this industry. This saturation of competitions also affects them."

Tebas also pointed out that the recent rulings against the European Super League and the Diarra case set important precedents, demonstrating that large organizations cannot make unilateral decisions without consulting with the stakeholders involved.
