FC Barcelona is in an economic crisis and has mentioned time and time again that the club will not sell crucial players this summer. The club president, Joan Laporta, says he wants to keep most of the squad next season, including loan players Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo. While the club finds another way other than selling players to gain funds, FC Barcelona is reportedly receiving big transfer bids from Saudi Arabia. One Saudi Arabian club that is heavily interested in signing a Barcelona player is Al Hilal, who looks set to win the Saudi Pro League. The team currently has a former Barcelona player, Neymar.

Sport reports that Al Hilal is offering Barcelona $108m for Raphinha. The Saudi club is offering the player triple his salary. In the last few weeks, there has been an intensification of movements around Raphinha's future. Several intermediaries have called Barcelona to show interest in the Brazilian. Raphinha does not want to leave Barcelona at the moment. But the club is open to selling him for financial, not sporting, reasons. Barça will have to convince Raphinha to accept Al-Hilal's offer.

Other Saudi Arabian clubs are willing to pay up to $100 million for Raphinha. Barça would prefer to sell already amortized players, but they could make an exception for the Brazilian. If Barcelona accepts transfer offers for Raphinha, they must convince the player to leave, which will not be easy. The player knows that he's not a guaranteed starter but thinks he can compete with Lamine Yamal over a starting spot for the right-wing position.

Raphinha has recovered his right-wing position recently

Raphinha suffered a big injury last month that took him out for a while. Lamine Yamal excelled during the Brazilian time out, but the youngster played too many games. Raphinha has started to play more minutes since his return and has provided two assists in his last two starts for FC Barcelona. He also started for Brazil in the 1-0 win against England in a friendly match yesterday.
