Real Madrid is reportedly preparing for a busy January transfer window, with a focus on bolstering its defensive line. A leaked list of potential signings has surfaced online, revealing four names that the Spanish giants are considering.

According to renowned journalist Ekrem Konur, Trent Alexander-Arnold, the Liverpool right-back, is at the top of Real Madrid's wishlist. The England international is widely regarded as one of the best full-backs in the world and would undoubtedly bring a wealth of experience and attacking flair to the Bernabéu.

Joining Alexander-Arnold on the list are Jarrad Branthwaite, Cristian Romero, and Jonathan Tah. Branthwaite, a young and promising defender currently at Everton, is seen as a long-term investment for the future. His ability to play both as a center-back and a left-back makes him a versatile option for Carlo Ancelotti.

Romero, who has impressed at Tottenham Hotspur, is another central defensive option being considered. The Argentine international is known for his aggressive style of play and his ability to read the game.

Rounding out the list is Bayer Leverkusen's Jonathan Tah. The German defender is a physical presence in the heart of the defense and has been linked with a move to a bigger club for several seasons.

Interestingly, Colombian defenders Davinson Sánchez and Daniel Muñoz, who were previously rumored to be targets for Real Madrid, do not appear on the leaked list. This suggests that the club has shifted its focus towards other players who may better fit their specific needs.

It is important to note that these are merely rumors at this stage, and the actual players that Real Madrid sign in January remain to be seen. The club's final decisions will depend on a variety of factors, including the availability of the players, the willingness of their clubs to sell, and the financial implications of any potential deal.
