They are 11 points behind 4th spot, which Aston Villa is currently placed at. Their FA Cup opponents, Newport County, are from League Two, and the 4th round game will be played in the Rodney Parade stadium. With a Champions League spot being a big task in itself, Man United will look to beat Newport to continue their journey in the FA Cup. Last season, Ten Hag led his team to an EFL Cup trophy and reached the FA Cup final but lost to local rivals Manchester City in the final.
