Football legend Ronaldinho Gaúcho is set to embark on a new chapter in his life as he prepares to become a grandfather. His son, João Mendes de Assis Moreira, and Giovanna Buscacio, sister of actress Giullia Buscacio, are expecting their first child together.

Giovanna, a popular social media influencer, announced the exciting news on Instagram this Sunday (December 1st), sharing a photo of herself cradling her baby bump. "16 weeks and counting," she captioned the post. The couple was surrounded by family and friends as they celebrated the upcoming arrival of their baby.

Football Legend Ronaldinho Expecting First Grandchild

Ronaldinho's ex-partner and João's mother, Janaína Mendes, also expressed her joy on social media. "Grandma's love! You are already so loved, come on, I can't wait to fill you with kisses and lots of love! I love you," she commented on Giovanna's post. Ronaldinho has yet to publicly comment on the news.

João Mendes, who has followed in his father's footsteps as a footballer, played for Barcelona before signing with English second-division club Burnley in August. The young couple expressed their excitement about starting a family, with Giovanna sharing a photo of herself and João and writing, "Mommy and daddy. Incomplete without you, my love, but we'll be together soon."
