Real Madrid is looking towards the club's future as they consider what new players to buy this summer transfer window. While club veterans like Luka Modric and Toni Kroos are close to leaving, Madrid wants to bring in new young players to be the core of the squad for the next decade. Madrid is willing to spend big this summer but also wants to see if they can get affordable deals.

Real Madrid are looking for new players to fill the striker position and the fullback positions. Kylian Mbappe, Victor Osimhen, and Erling Haaland have been the main targets for Real Madrid this summer. One of three is reportedly joining the club soon, and Madrid hopes to convince Mbappe to join Los Blancos. Haaland and Osimhen would also be great signings since they are two of the best strikers in the world, and the club is looking for a natural number 9.

All three players will come for a big price, especially Mbappe. Mbappe could arrive on a free transfer, but his wages are tremendously bigger than Real Madrid's current bets players like Vinicius Jr. Haaland signed a long-term contract with Manchester City, and Osimhen has a 120/230 million euros release clause in his contract with Napoli.

For the fullback positions, Madrid is gaining confidence with Dani Carvajal in the right-back position. For the left back position, Ferland Mendy is starting to pick up form but his inconsistency and injuries left Real Madrid doubting his contributions for the next few seasons. Madrid are looking at Bayern Munich's Alphonso Davies to fill the position. Madrid believes they can get a deal done to bring the Canadian left back, but new reports suggest Davies might stay with the German giants.

Alphonso Davies is close to extending his contract with Bayern Munich after being offered more than Real Madrid

Reliable journalist David Ornstein suggests that the Bayern Munich contract extension is a superior deal to Real Madrid's contract, and the player is expected to stay in Germany. Ornstein says, "The Real Madrid interest is well documented, but the last I heard, the Bayern Munich new contract proposal was superior, so unless that has changed or does subsequently, the expectation is that Alphonso Davies will renew.”
