While Barca makes €800.1M, Real Madrid is higher revenue generating club

These 10 European clubs made the most amount out of any club last season.

€532.6m is the lowest amount out of the top ten revenue generating clubs.

Last season, it included some incredible moments across Europe. Some of the top teams reached top achievements that will last a lifetime. Napoli won their first Scudetto in over 30 years, PSG continued to dominate Ligue 1, FC Barcelona won their first La Liga in 4 years, Bayern stole the Bundesliga from Dortmund in the last game, and Manchester City won their first-ever treble including the Champions league.

Deloitte UK released the top 20 revenue-generating clubs in world football last season, and the revenue has a record. The total revenue generated by the top 20 clubs in 2022/23 is a record €10.5bn, a 14% increase over the previous year. All 20 clubs are European and include teams like Inter Milan, Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Marseille, and Newcastle United.

In the 10th position is Arsenal, who generated €532.6m. The club was very close to winning their first Premier League title in almost 20 years. Chelsea ranked in 9th with €589.4m generated. Chelsea had one of their worst years last season finishing in 12th of the Premier League table. Tottenham is the highest-ranked London club by generating €631.5m.

Liverpool FC is in 7th place, generating €682.9 million last season. Liverpool just missed out on Champions League football, finishing 5th in the Premier League table. Bayern Munich placed the 6th team with the most revenue generated at €744m when they dramatically won the Bundesliga over Dortmund on the final matchday. Manchester United are 5th in the ranking with €745.8m.

FC Barcelona won their first La Liga title in four years and generated €800.1m in the old Camp Nou before the remodeling of the stadium. PSG, with Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappe, generated €801.8m.

Real Madrid generated the highest revenue last season ahead of Manchester City

Manchester City was the second highest revenue germinating club last season with €825.9m. Man City won a historic treble, including their first Champions League trophy, after beating Inter Milan 1-0 in the final. Real Madrid ranks the highest out of any club, generating the most revenue at €831.4m. Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabeu keeps improving daily, and the club has a squad that can dominate in the upcoming years.
