Real Madrid are looking to win their 15th Champions League trophy tomorrow against Borussia Dortmund at Wembley Stadium after defeating RB Leipzig, Manchester City, and Bayern Munich in the knockout stages of the competition. According to Relevo, Real Madrid had early plans in December about reservations of hotels for the Champions League Final at Wembley Stadium. This Saturday will be Real Madrid’s 6th Champions League final in the last ten years, and because of that success, the Spanish club was able to decline certain accommodations proposed by UEFA. This means that Real Madrid already knew where they would be staying before even advancing to the Champions League final since they are likely to reach that stage, unlike other clubs. There is a lot of planning ahead of the Champions League Final, and UEFA needs to keep everything organized for the big day. The Real Madrid team will be at the Grove Hotel instead of the Biltmore Mayfair, which was offered by UEFA.

This will be the first time Real Madrid will play a Champions League Final at Wembley Stadium in London, England. UEFA organized this final two years ago before announcing the venue to the public. UEFA notifies the club in the round of 16 in December about characteristics of the stadium, hotels, airports, spaces to locate ‘fan zones,’ training camps, and distance between specific locations like the stadium from where the team will be staying before the final.

Since the Real Madrid team will be staying at the Grove Hotel, it would take them around two hours to get to Wembley Stadium. It has a training ground, tennis courts, and a golf course, and it is used by other football teams, including the England national team, for matches that will take place at Wembley Stadium.
