Real Madrid is not afraid to splash money on new players this upcoming transfer window. While the Spanish giants look set to bring in Kylian Mbappé, the club is glad to hear that the French star could join as a free transfer this summer. Real Madrid is also targeting more young players along with Mbappé this summer, and they look to be in a great spot to sign Alphonso Davies. If the Davies signing is close to being done, Real Madrid will set their eyes on another young defender for next season.

Real Madrid has shown interest in Lille defender Leny Yoro. It is reported that PSG was also interested in the Yoro, but it looks like Real Madrid has an edge over the French giants. Lille reportedly does not want to sell Yoro to PSG, and the player is open to a move to Real Madrid. Marca reported that Real Madrid had made their decision to want Leny Yoro no matter what, as they consider him a key signing.

Fabrizio Romano reported that Leny Yoro’s price tag will not be cheap, although the final price has not yet been decided. Lille’s president could make a decision around May. Real Madrid isn't the only club waiting to know a set price tag amongst other clubs. A Premier League club is keen on the signing of Yoro this summer and they are willing to challenge Real Madrid this summer transfer window coming up.

Manchester United is interested in signing Yoro this summer

Team Talk reports that Manchester United hopes to land 18-year-old French center-back Leny Yoro from Lille and could pay £41m to get the deal done. In US dollars, that would be around $52 million. Lille is likely to turn that offer down and ask for more from Manchester United, Real Madrid, and other clubs that are interested this summer.
