Another thing they battle with is Instagram followers since they are two of the most followed accounts or users on the whole platform. Despite CR7 having the most followers on the platform, the company itself picked Messi as the best player in the history of football. Inter Miami posted a picture of Messi in the heavy rain from last week’s MLS match against DC United. The official Instagram account commented under the post and wrote, “Rain or shine, still the goat [with the goat emoji].”

Ronaldo currently has 630 million followers on Instagram and is very active on the social media platform. It is his most used social media and he also created his own broadcast channel that currently has 6.5 million members. CR7 uses this to engage with fans, and he also posts pictures of himself and his family or even sponsored pots that make him lots of money. He also posts pictures of team training or even pictures of him after the Al Nassr games.

Messi has 502 million followers on Instagram, and he is also starting to be more active on the platform with posts about his family, his Inter Miami games, and his sponsorships since his move to the United States. His popularity has grown since he moved to the MLS, and he has taken pictures with celebrities who attend his Inter Miami games at the Chase Stadium. Messi may not have the most followers, but Instagram backs him as the greatest player of all time.

Lionel Messi has three more Inter Miami games left before he joins the Argentina national team for the Copa America. The MLS will still be going on during the Copa America this June to July.
